ROBIN HOOK - FOUNDER

Hi there, I’m Robin, Founder of Flusso Consulting.

After studying Industrial Psychology at the University of Natal, much like many young South Africans at the time, I worked abroad in London from 2002 to 2005.  

From 2005 to 2012 I gained a wide range of business, general, delivery and client management competencies having filled roles in large businesses in a variety of industries. Roles that ranged from sales, marketing and advertising to digital marketing, Web Development and Technology.  Industries from Sales, Marketing, and FMCG, to Advertising, production, full service digital, Technology and Change Management.  

Then from 2012 my passion for Business Management saw a change in my career to focus on people development and business operational roles.  
First off, General Manager with a small production agency in Cape Town. A role that focused on systems, processes and general quality and profitability of delivery across the business.  
I then took up a role as Business Partner with Ogilvy & Mather South Africa specialising in Change and Culture Management. A role that bridged people management and operations in pursuit of increased general effectiveness across eleven operating companies in Ogilvy & Mather SA Group.

From 2016 until 2018 I have been working with WWC People and Technology advisory as Director of Operations.  A challenging role focusing on the redevelopment of workflow processes, systems, team structures, cost and profitability models due to a change in their operating model and service offering of that took place in 2017.  

With more than 13 years experience in variety of management roles, organisations and industries, I understand how culture, physical environment and purpose influences overall performance (or lack thereof). Along with a sound understanding of tested theoretical Business and Change Management Frameworks, I deliver effective, people centric, progressive solutions that ensure functional success and future readiness for your organisation.
